On EastEnders, the tension between the characters Kheerat Panesar (played by Jaz Deol) and Ravi Gulati (played by Aaron Thiara) has been on the verge of erupting for weeks. Their animosity toward one another will escalate this week after the tragic revelation that Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) shared a kiss with Ravi. Kheerat hasn’t believed a word Ravi has said since he stepped foot in Albert Square, so she won’t be able to trust anything he says.
The celebration of Diwali among the Panesars in the BBC soap drama ends in a fight in the Queen Vic after some family secrets are revealed to the public. This information comes from spoilers for the show.
During the course of the week, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) reveals to Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha), Kheerat, and Vinny (Shiv Jalota) that his family will be joining them in Walford East to celebrate Diwali.
However, as Ash learns that Nina Gupta (Hersha Verity) is going to the police station, she makes the snap decision to depart immediately.
Two police officers who are investigating Ranveer’s (Anil Goutam) whereabouts interrupt a tense Ravi who is eating in the restaurant. They are looking for Ranveer.
Kheerat questions Ravi as soon as she notices that tensions are beginning to rise, but she is persuaded by Ravi’s explanation of how Nina has reported Ranveer missing.
Ravi confronts his belle Nina about the possibility of calling the police, but she brings up the fact that they have a plot to steal his riches.
In the meantime, Kheerat makes a poor decision after his plan to assist Stacey with the care of her daughter Lily is unsuccessful.
He offers to take her and Nugget (Juhaim Choudhury) out for a milkshake, but an offended Lily is lead to believe that they are being set up, and Kheerat wanted to speak to Nugget separately, so he did not take them up on his offer.
After witnessing Lily’s distress, Stacey investigates the situation further and discovers that Kheerat has been lying to her daughter. She becomes furious with Kheerat and expresses her frustration with him.
When Kheerat interrupts Ravi’s Diwali show to inform them that Ranveer is missing when they are in Walford East, it is the second stop on his route to devastation. Kheerat is on his way to destroying everything.
Nish makes an effort to calm the two of them down when they are arguing since he does not believe Ravi and his justification for talking to the police.
After explaining to Nish that he doesn’t put any stock in what Ravi has to say, Kheerat makes his way to the Queen Vic in order to see Stacey.
