The American buddy cop action-comedy TV show Turner & Hooch is based on the same-named 1989 movie and picks up where it left off. The series was created and written by executive producer Matt Nix. It is a legacy sequel and is made in collaboration with Flying Glass of Milk Productions, Wonderland Sound and Vision, and 20th Television.
Josh Peck, Lyndsy Fonseca, Carra Patterson, and Vanessa Lengies star in it. It is the third movie in the series of the same name and made its debut on Disney+ on July 21, 2021. After one season, the show was canceled.
Turner & Hooch Season 2 Premiere Date
According to Web News Observer, since the show hasn’t been picked up yet, there is no date for Season 2 of Turner & Hooch. If it does happen, it might not happen until at least 2023. Turner & Hooch was first said to come out on Disney+ on July 16, 2021, and each of its 12 episodes would come out every week until October 1.
But on June 16, 2021, it was announced that after Loki’s success on a Wednesday, Disney+ would move most of its original premieres to Wednesdays. Because of this, Turner and Hooch came out on July 21, 2021. On July 17, 2021, the Red Carpet Premiere took place in Los Angeles.

But, even though the episodes of “Turner & Hooch” were loosely connected by a larger storyline about Scott Srdeath, they all stood on their own as completely different stories. All of this happened while they were learning how to work as a K9 team and dealing with the politics and other problems that come with it. During the season, Scott and Hooch have to deal with, among other things, drug dealers, jewel thieves, fake money, Scott’s ex-girlfriend, and an illegal dogfighting ring.
Even though the end of the episode wasn’t satisfying, it was still a nice way to end things. In this article, we’ll talk about, among other things, a child, a wedding, romantic sparks, new job opportunities, and puppy antics.
So, a new season would probably keep going with the investigations that the two friends started, and it might even add a new big mystery to solve. “Turner & Hooch” is now a (mostly) complete experience, unlike some earlier shows that left viewers on a cliffhanger before ending. We can only hope that this is not the end of the story.

Based on 21 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, the series has a 57% approval rating or an average rating of 5.8/10. The website’s critical consensus says, “Turner & Hooch is likable but not very deep. The dog is great, but those who want more story may want to look elsewhere.” Based on the reviews of 7 critics, the film has a weighted average score of 49 out of 100 on Metacritic. This means that the reviews are “mixed or average.”
Matt Fowler of IGN gave the show a 6 out of 10 and said, “Nothing feels dumbed down or muted, but the dog dilemma with Hooch being forced on an unwilling owner feels like a questionable situation now instead of a light-hearted romp.”
The Guardian’s Lucy Mangan gave the series 3 out of 5 stars and said, “Josh Peck and his law-enforcement dog try to follow in Tom Hanks’ paw steps, but this remake is all bark and no bite.” Common Sense Media’s Ashley Moulton gave the show a 3 out of 5 and an “11+” age rating, saying, “Teens who like dogs might like this show, which is pretty mild except for the violence, but many people will roll their eyes at the corny dialogue and plots.
