Thicker Than Water Season 1
When a journalist protects her brother from the law, she accidentally entangles her family in a drug lord’s ruthless operation.
This dramatic crime series is led by Belgian humorist Nawell Madani (C’est tout pour moi, Stuck Together), Djebril Zonga, and Paola Locatelli.
The title, a reference to the idiom “blood is thicker than water,” describes this series, which focuses on the significance of sisterhood and family.
Kahina Carina, Carima Amarouche, Ada Guechoud, Mayane Sarah El Baze, Paul Hamy, Vincent Rottiers, and Walid Afkir comprise the ensemble. This appears to be a legitimate series, albeit with a campy drug premise.
Fara, a writer, must reconcile with her sisters in order to save their unruly brother just as she is about to receive the best professional opportunity of her life.
The sisters find themselves in an unforeseen downward spiral as they become engaged in their brother’s lucrative drug operation while maintaining a front.
