The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 Release Date – Where Can We Watch the New Season?
The Handmaid’s Tale is an American dystopian television series devised by Bruce Miller and based on Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel of the same name. The streaming service Hulu ordered 10 episodes of the series as a straight-to-series order, and production began in late 2016. The narrative depicts a dystopia following the Second American Civil War in which a totalitarian, theocratic society enslaves reproductive women known as “Handmaids”
Season 6 updates for The Handmaid’s Tale are beginning to appear. The next season will delve into the consequences of the dramatic season 5 conclusion. The finale of The Handmaid’s Tale season 5 throws significant curveballs at several of the show’s continuing storylines, including shocks for the majority of important characters.
June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) is separated from Luke Bankole (O-T Fangbenle) and on the run after a season and a half in Canada, with Gilead rapidly making its presence felt north of the US border. The Handmaid’s Tale season 6 Release Date
Seasons three and four of The Handmaid’s Tale were separated by two years due to the pandemic, which knocked the show’s release schedule out of whack. Now that production appears to be back on track, we may be looking at a release window for season six around the end of 2024, one year after season five. However, the pressure to make this final season flawless, as well as the intentions for a sequel to The Testaments, may delay its release until early 2024.
What will The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 be About?
Season 6 of The Handmaid’s Tale is expected to expand on June and Nick’s romance and involve a final showdown between June and Serena. June and Nick’s romance has been tantalizingly developing over the seasons. Furthermore, season five ended with the indicated dissolution of Nick’s marriage to Rose. It’s apparent that he’s still not over June. We doubt that will work well for him.
June and Serena will undoubtedly clash in the finale, especially after June ruthlessly murdered Serena’s husband (and June’s former boss). We doubt Serena will forgive and forget after being forced to face Fred’s damaged body. The last episode of season five concludes with Nicole catching a ride on a train when Luke realizes he won’t be able to elude the cops coming for him and turns himself in. But, as it turns out…Serena is on the same train as Noah Yikes.
