He also meets the love of his life (a development on which we would have loved to have seen greater emphasis). Woo-min and Ji-relationship eun’s is back on solid ground. We watch Ji-eun wistfully thinking about Woo-min, but it is Woo-min who pursues her relentlessly to acquire what he wants (in both their professional and romantic relationships).

It’s true that Ji-Eun makes an effort to get back together with Lee Nam-jin. But in the end, she follows her heart and returns to Woo-min. Woo-min has made the admirable decision to pursue a career as a street photographer full-time. Friends helped him find work with magazines, and now he gets to do what he enjoys—including attending fashion weeks while on the road.

With the help of an offer from a major corporation, Ji-eun has risen to the position of marketing director at AUDREY. Providing the ideal resolution we’ve all been seeking in our own mundane lives. Thankfully, it can be appreciated in the rare near-perfect Korean drama.

The premise of The Fabulous is nothing special and can be very predictable at times, but the story is saved by the vibrant protagonists.

Whether it’s Joseph and Ji Eun’s habit of telling each other everything no matter what, or Seonho and Woomin’s childhood friendship and how easily honest they can be with each other, The Fabulous succeeds in portraying the hopeless optimism of the millennial generation, which drives them to shout, “it’s us against the world.”

Fans have taken a shine to Minho as the shy but charming Woomin who opens up during the course of the drama, and the tale itself is compelling because of the chemistry between Minho and Soobin.
