There is a Chinese crime family called the Sun family in Taipei. They are at the center of The Brothers Sun. When they were little, Charles Sun and Bruce Sun were split up. Charles turned into a killing machine while growing up in Taipei with his father, who is known as the Big Sun.
Bruce and his mother Eileen moved to Los Angeles, where he went to school to become a doctor. Bruce didn’t know who his family was, and when Charles went to Los Angeles to find his mother and brother, things got out of hand.
Charles was a top killer in Taipei, and his love of baking was the only thing that kept people from finding out. He was attacked by three killers at his apartment while he was trying to learn a cake recipe.
Charles’s father came out of hiding to check on his son after Charles killed all three of the attackers.
Charles was sure that Sleepy Chan’s men were hitting him, but his father wasn’t so sure. If someone wanted to hurt Charles, he thought there were better ways to do it than via death. He told his son off for not keeping one of his killers alive long enough for them to find out the truth.
They quickly found out the real reason for sending guys to Charles’ apartment. They were able to do what they did because they knew Big Sun would come out of hiding if his child was hurt. Big Sun fell into his son’s arms after a bullet went through the building next to them.
Before he passed out, he said the name of his wife, Hsiao Han. Charles learned early on that his only job was to protect his family. He knew that his father had told him to watch out for both his mother and his brother.
The people who attacked Charles followed him to Los Angeles and broke into his mother’s simple house. The killer was caught because no one was home, and Charles killed the person.
It looked like Eileen (Hsiao Han) was glad to see her son, but she was aware of how dirty he was.
