The Third Season of Tehran Plot
The main character is a young Jewish woman named Tamar Rabinyan. She was born in Iran but grew up in Israel. She is a Mossad agent and computer hacker who is sent to Iran’s capital to shut down a nuclear reactor there.
To stop Iran from making a nuclear bomb, Israel’s air force needs to be able to bomb a nuclear plant. Zhila Gorbanifar works for an Iranian electric company and changes her name when she comes to the United States.
She steps in for Zhila at the electric company station and connects to the network there. The Israeli Air Force then tries to stop the Iranian radar system from working by cutting off its power.
That is her boss, who thinks she is Zhila and goes on a killing spree when she tries to seduce him. In the fight that follows, he is killed. After Tamar gets away, she has to go into hiding.
After moving to Israel as a child, Tamar goes to visit her aunt in Iran and makes friends with Iranians who work for democracy. Faraz Kamali, who is in charge of investigations for the Revolutionary Guards, is looking for her.

This season has gotten pretty good reviews from both critics and viewers, and the ending leaves a lot of room for another season if Apple decides to go ahead with this one.
Given how many Apple shows have been picked up for a third season and how good this one is, we think that Tehran will also be picked up for a third season.
What We Know So Far About Season 3
At the time of writing, not much is known about season 3. Apple has a good track record of renewing shows, so we’ll have to wait and see if they decide to do it again.
Tehran will likely win, and the story could build on parts of the final, including THAT last scene (no spoilers here!) and what it means for Tamar’s future.
We’ll make sure to add new information to this section as soon as we can.
