Sweet Home Season 3 Release Date: Has Netflix Renewed or Canceled the Show?

Sweet Home Season 3 Release Date

Sweet Home is a South Korean streaming horror series starring Song Kang, Lee Jin-Wook, and Lee Si-young. Based on Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan’s Naver webtoon of the same name, which had over 2.1 billion net views, the series premiered on Netflix on December 18, 2020. The second season is set to premiere in 2023. A third season is also in the works.

Sweet Home – Renewed Or Canceled

When Netflix’s original series Sweet Home premiered earlier this year, it got off to a roaring and gruesome start. Despite this, it has been 18 months since Netflix announced that production on the second season of the program they broadcast had begun.

In addition to the announcement that the second season of Sweet Home will be available on Netflix, the streaming service also revealed that a third season will be available soon. What follows is all we presently know about the forthcoming second season of Netflix’s Sweet Home.

Release Date for Sweet Home Season 3

Because Netflix just renewed Sweet Home for two more seasons, don’t expect Season 2 to be released any time soon. Netflix has already issued a list of movies and TV episodes that will be available in October 2022, however, Sweet Home Season 2 isn’t on the list, therefore the third season won’t be available until late 2023 or later.

Cast to be Included in Sweet Home Season 3

The Plot of Sweet Home

Because the second season has not yet been released, we are unable to forecast any specific narrative for the third season. The conclusion of the second season will have an impact on the third season’s plot.

Cha Hyun-soo (Song Kang) and a gang of neighbors came together in Season 1 to face perilous monsters out to destroy civilization. The 10 episodes that makeup Sweet Home’s first season feature significant character growth and storyline changes as a result of the characters being forced to choose between working together or working alone.

Hyun Soo was apprehended by the military after narrowly fleeing the Green Home, but Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook) arrived with his burn wounds repaired. Without giving too much away, Season 2 is anticipated to intensify the antagonism that was started in Season 1.

Is the Official Hellbound Season 2 Release Date Announced by Netflix?

During the unveiling, Lee stated that the “Season 2 will include a new setting.” The technical aspects that we weren’t able to polish in Season 1 will, in my opinion, be polished in Season 2, he continued.

Summary of Sweet Home Season 1

We observe how Cha Hyun-soo’s life changes as he moves to a new apartment in the season of Sweet Home. He avoids his neighbors and only comes out for food deliveries, but one day one of his neighbors asks for his assistance, and he transforms into a monster.

Suddenly, because of the monsters, Cha Hyun-soo and some of the apartment’s remaining tenants will begin battling the monsters in the hope of survival. At the end of the season, some of the inhabitants survive and are brought to safety camps, while Cha Hyun-soo awakens in an armored van to discover that Sang-Wook is Ui-myeong, who has assumed his shape. The first season of Sweet Home ended on a dramatic cliffhanger.

Sweet Home Rating & Reviews

If you have never watched the series and are inquisitive about its quality, I can assure you that it is quite excellent! 7.4/10 is a respectable IMDb rating, and the average audience rating on Rottentomatoes is 83%. Consequently, this program is included in my list. If you’re still on the fence about seeing it, consider what others have said about it.
