Season one director James Hawes has expressed his aspirations for more seasons, telling Deadline that “there is every hope and intention that there will be another couple of seasons in the immediate future.”

Slow Horses Season 4 Cast
The cast will include Kristin Scott Thomas (Diana Taverner), Jack Lowden (River Cartwright), Saskia Reeves (Catherine Standish), Rosalind Eleazar (Louisa Guy), Christopher Chung (Roddy Ho), Aimee-Ffion Edwards (Shirley Dander), Kadiff Kirwan (Marcus Longridge), and Jonathan Pryce (David Cartwright).

What Could be the Plot of Slow Horses Season 4?
According to a press release, the fourth installment will begin with an explosion that explodes personal secrets and shakes the already shaky foundations of Slough House.
We do know that it will be based on Mick Herron’s novel Spook Street, whose synopsis reads: “Twenty years after retiring from the Intelligence Service, David Cartwright still knows where every bone is interred. But when he forgets that secrets are supposed to remain concealed, he abruptly becomes a target.
“The ‘Old Bastard’ brought up his grandson to be a hero, not a slow horse.” River Cartwright is now part of Jackson Lamb’s staff of pen-pushing no-hopers at Slough House, far from the tales and legends of Spook Street. That doesn’t mean he won’t abandon everything and go, renegade, if his grandfather is threatened.
“Lamb used to work with Cartwright and knows better than most that this is no ordinary old man.” When a panic button goes off at Intelligence Service HQ, Lamb is called in to identify the dead. And it’s Lamb who will go to any length to safeguard an agent in danger.”
