Never Have I Ever Renewed Status
Season 5 won’t happen, right?
Let’s get one thing straight: Never Have I Ever is over after Season 4, and there will not be a Season 5. Ramakrishnan says that the words “for now” are a hint about what will happen to Devi and Ben in the future, not on the show. She says, “‘For now,’ to me, means that this is just a moment in time because life is always changing.”
Ramakrishnan tells Tudum that Devi is still being worked on. It’s clear that this is just one of a young woman’s many stories, which is very exciting… Life keeps going, and you don’t know what the fuck is going to happen.
Still, Lewison would love to work with other people in the future, even though Never Have I Ever is over and there won’t be a Season 5. “I don’t know if that means in 10 or 15 years Maitreyi and I will agree to do a rom-com together and [creators Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher] will come back,” he says. As for Ben and Devi? “What happens to Ben and Devi is up to how the audience sees it,” says Lewison. “There are many ways to understand it. So I’m looking forward to hearing what fans have to say about that on fan pages, Reddit, Instagram, and anywhere else I can find them.
Netflix will also Feature Two of the Actors
First, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is in talks to play Lizzie Bennet in The Netherfield Girls, a movie that is still in the works. It’s called a modern version of Pride and Prejudice, and Temple Hill Entertainment is the company behind it. Ramakrishnan also gives her voice to My Little Pony: Make Your Mark, which you can watch on Netflix.
Darren Barnet will play characters in Skull Island (coming out in late June 2023) and Blue Eye Samurai (coming out in the fall of the same year). Barnet also has a small part in the seventh episode of the first season of Family Reunion. The actor also did the voices for Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles.
The last good thing is that Netflix has a lot of teen shows coming up and already available.
The journey of Devi on “Never Have I Ever” has come to an end with the conclusion of Season 4, which brings an end to the series. The conclusion of the show opens the door to new opportunities, despite the fact that there will not be a fifth season. The actors are working on other projects, and Netflix will continue to provide a wide selection of shows geared toward teenagers.
