Nene Leakes Has Said That Her Son Brentt is Doing Well After Suffering a Stroke and Heart Failure.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” actress NeNe Leakes stated on Monday that her son Brentt Leakes is doing well after being hospitalised for a stroke and congestive heart failure.
Since the terrifying incident that occurred earlier this month, the 23-year-old has been “struggling with speaking,” but she has “shown some improvement and we’re incredibly thrilled and fortunate for that,” according to an update that was posted by Leakes on her Instagram stories.
The reality personality said in her latest post that her kid suffered a stroke about two weeks ago. It was her decision to discuss it in public in order to ensure that the “proper” version of events was conveyed.
“I did not want for it to turn out in this manner at all. We wanted to be able to discuss it amongst ourselves when Brentt was in a more positive state of mind “Leakes added. “Consequently, here I am because I would like for the correct thing to be out there rather than something that isn’t correct,” the speaker said.

According to Leakes, the source of the disease is still a mystery; however, experts have ruled out the possibility that it was caused by drugs, HIV, or any other infection.
“They have conducted a number of tests on him to determine what could have potentially made this happen to him,” she continued. “They are trying to figure out what could have possible caused this to happen to him.” “And we are continuing our efforts to find it out. Because if we understood what caused it, then we would certainly be able to treat whatever it was. It was a terrifying experience.”
The celebrity, who is 54 years old, also mentioned that it is possible for medical professionals to consider it a genetic issue and that her kid was “extremely stressed” at the one-year anniversary of his father Gregg Leakes’ passing in September.
After talking to her son through FaceTime first thing on Monday morning, Leakes reported that her son is “in good spirits.”
