My Home Hero Episode 1 Recap

Tetsuo awaited the arrival of his daughter Reika at a local restaurant. Tetsuo became concerned when he observed the bruises on Reika’s face.

Eventually, he learned that his daughter was involved in an abusive relationship with Nobuto. Tetsuo attempted to follow Nobuto discreetly after discovering him outside Reika’s apartment but was apprehended by a member of the syndicate who roughed him up.

Tetsuo returned to Reika’s apartment following a night spent in an internet café. As he heard footsteps approaching the door, he hid in the closet.

Tetsuo recognized Nobuto after observing him through the closet’s opening. Tetsuo learned through eavesdropping on Nobuto’s phone conversation that he had killed many people and intended to do the same to Reika.

With over 130 chapters across 20 Tankobon volumes, the My Home Hero manga has sufficient material for many potential sequels, assuming that the tale is ongoing. The cliffhanger from the last episode led people to believe that Kyoichi may have caught him.

Seeing an opportunity, Tetsuo was able to stun Nobuto and repeatedly strike his head with a rice cooker. Tetsuo explained everything after his wife Kasen entered the flat and witnessed the incident.

Tetsuo went to the bathroom with a knife for Nobuto, whose body he had hidden earlier in the bathtub after Kasen and Reika left the apartment. Tetsuo discovered someone suddenly attempting to pick the front door lock.

The man dispatched to convince Nobuto to return to his father, Kyoichi, was stunned upon entering the apartment. As it is too early for Tetsuo to be apprehended by the Yakuza, which would be “game over” for him, supporters can anticipate that he will maintain his composure without arousing suspicion.

While the cat-and-mouse game has only just begun, Tetsuo will need to make further efforts to protect his family.
