The Golden Globe winner is previewing her new Netflix stand-up special, My Name Is Mo’Nique, for her devoted fans. This past Wednesday, the streaming service posted a video giving viewers an inside look at the making of the pilot episode of the original comedy special.

She announced in July that she would be shooting an original comedy special for the streaming service. The 54-year-old said in a video posted to her Twitter account and Strong Black Lead initiative account that she is “so excited to announce my first Netflix comedy special.”
