Money Heist’s Berlin, Release Date, Storyline And Everything You Should Know
Details on the cast, plot, and release date of Money Heist’s Berlin have emerged, after Netflix’s announcement several years ago that Pedro Alonso’s Berlin will get its own spinoff. Money Heist is a Spanish crime thriller that was first produced by Antena 3 before being picked up by Netflix.
It follows a crew of robbers as they try to attack Spain’s Royal Mint. The heist’s mastermind, The Professor (Álvaro Morte), gave his half-brother, Andrés de Fonollosa (also known as “Berlin”), the task of spearheading the crime.
Alonso was still able to be a part of Money Heist even though it was shocking when Berlin was killed at the end of part 2 (after being shot by the police) since he was included in multiple flashbacks.
It was undoubtedly a useful strategy since it not only advanced the plot but also helped establish Berlin’s spinoff by giving viewers ideas about his life prior to participating in the Royal Mint heist. Viewers will finally get to learn how Andrés de Fonollosa became the infamous diamond thief thanks to his own spinoff, Money Heist’s Berlin.
Money Heist’s Berlin Release Date
December 29, 2023, is when The Money Heist Berlin will be released. It will only be available on Netflix. For a while now, the spinoff has been verified. A TV series about Berlín was in development at Netflix, according to an announcement made by Money Heist’s official Twitter account just before the last episodes of season 5 were made available on December 3, 2021.
What Will Be The Storyline Of Money Heist’s Berlin?
Berlin should look into one of his largest crimes, in which he stole 434 diamonds from the Champs-Élysées in Paris, as the official synopsis claims that his latest heist will feature “a jackpot of jewels worth $44 million”. A French auction house appears to be the focal point of this heist, according to a Money Heist Berlin first peek offered by Netflix.
Berlin appears to be searching for love once more, especially since Alonso said at the presentation that Berlin would take place sometime after the jewel thief’s third wife left him. This was made clear by the first Money Heist Berlin teaser, which included him having an affair with their target’s wife.

In addition to Alonso, the Money Heist spinoff stars Tristán Ulloa (Warrior Nun), Begoña Vargas (High Seas), Michelle Jenner (Isabel), and Keila.
