Minecraft Live 2023: The annual Minecraft Live event is coming back for another year, complete with updates on everything Minecraft-related as well as another mob vote.

- Each year, Mojang Studios and Xbox host a live-streamed event called Minecraft Live, where they discuss the game’s future.
- Mojang made the official announcement on Wednesday that Minecraft Live 2023 will begin airing on October 15 of that year.
- The most recent information and updates on Minecraft, Minecraft Legends, and Minecraft Dungeons will be discussed at this year’s Minecraft Live event.
- Additionally, there will be a brand-new community mob vote, and there will be a total of three mobs that have not yet been disclosed but have the potential to be introduced to Minecraft.

Mojang Studios said on Wednesday that Minecraft Live 2023 will air for real on Oct. 15, 2023, at noon CT/1:00 p.m. ET. This year, Minecraft Live will be bigger than ever, with news, updates, and releases for Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Legends, and a lot more. - The subsequent Minecraft patch: After the Minecraft 1.20 “Trails & Tales Update” came out earlier this year, the next big content update is almost certain to happen.
We don’t know what it will be yet, but we can be sure it will be a free update for Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, made in collaboration with the community and adding new features, building blocks, physics, and mobs.

- The future of Minecraft underground structures: The approachable action-role-playing game Minecraft Dungeons is the first Minecraft spin-off venture that was developed by Mojang Studios.
Despite the fact that there is a ton of material now available, there hasn’t been much new added to the game since the announcement of Season 3’s ‘Fauna Faire’ during the most recent Minecraft Live event.
We will hopefully find out what plans Mojang Studios has in store for Minecraft Dungeons, as well as whether or not the game will continue to receive support.
- The roadmap for Minecraft’s storied past: Minecraft Legends is the most recent game from Mojang Studios. It’s a unique action-strategy game with a great gameplay base, but it came out in a less-than-perfect state with bad balance and lots of bugs.
Since launch, things have changed a lot for the better, but Minecraft Legends should still have a lot of support ahead of it. We should be able to find out everything about it at Minecraft Live 2023.
- This is the new Mob Rule: The Sniffer won the Minecraft Live 2022 Mob Vote last year, and since then, this cute mob has been added to the game.

Mojang has said that the mob vote will be back, and there will be three new mobs on the platform. The community can start voting up to 48 hours before Minecraft Live 2023, and the winners will be announced at the show.
We don’t know anything about the three mobs yet, but Mojang will definitely give us little bits of information as the event gets closer.
Of course, there could be more than this. Will we hear more about the supposed Minecraft movie with real actors? How about a new version of Minecraft? Or, and this is the least likely, news about an Xbox Series X|S version of Minecraft that is better. There could be new partnerships, projects to help people in the community, merchandise and toys, and everything else. We don’t know yet, but any Minecraft fan will not want to miss Minecraft Live 2023. After all, Minecraft is one of the best Xbox and Windows PC games of all time for a reason.
