Keep Breathing’s Review
“Keep Breathing” is astonishingly immune to streaming-era bloat, which is something that can’t be said about all albums these days. Is it possible to tell the narrative of a woman’s struggle to overcome her past while attempting to survive a plane accident in 90 minutes?
Yes, of course. However, in only six episodes, each lasting about 30 minutes, the show gets its point over, reinforces it twice, and then moves on.
Liv, played by Melissa Barrera, is a character who is clinging to life. As a result of an extremely improbable event, Liv ended up in a distant part of Canada and had to make do with the meagre resources Netflix devotes to non-marquee programming.
As a grown-up version of the young adult classic “Hatchet,” Liv is adept at using her ingenuity and resourcefulness to make it through the ordeal. She is joined by the characters who haunt her thoughts, the first of which is one of the plane’s two co-pilots (Austin Stowell).
To survive, she is propelled by the pilot’s taunting, but as time passes and her energy diminishes, the situation becomes more complicated as figures from her past resurface, including her parents and a boyfriend (Juan Pablo Espinosa and Florencia Lozano) (Jeff Wilbusch).
Although Liv’s organizing trauma is marvellously broad, it might also appear aimless in “Keep Breathing,” because there is no single awful occurrence that occurred to her. The Barrera gives it her all. The present tense is the most powerful, as links between the battle to survive and less existential concerns aren’t often made.
Even though there are some nice moments, “Keep Breathing” is mostly forgettable despite some lovely moments, and its greatest accomplishment is its refusal to keep viewers on the hook for longer than necessary. That’s all you need, sometimes.
Season 2 of Keep Breathing?
However, despite the ending, Liv’s journey is very definitive As a result, we’re going to predict that the second season of Keep Breathing will not be picked up.
There Are How Many Episodes of “Keep Breathing”
However, the happy ending comes at the cost of drowsiness throughout the six episodes, and I wouldn’t be surprised if many viewers decide to skip these segments. Liv, on the other hand, is a bit of a mishmash.
The question is, Did Liv Make It Out Alive
However, Liv grits her teeth, grab a random piece of wood and jumps into the water, where she is carried downstream by the current.
This is, of course, a very dangerous proposition. Despite this, Liv magically reaches the bottom of the mountain.
Six episodes of Keep Breathing will air on Netflix on July 28th, 2022, with the premiere taking place on the 28th of the same year. You’ll be able to watch all of the episodes online.
