Kanye ‘ye’ West Posts Graphic Emmett Till Photo, Antisemitic Screed Against Ari Emanuel.
Alongside a lengthy, antisemitic rant directed against Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, Kanye “Ye” West uploaded a violent post-lynching photo of civil rights icon Emmett Till to Instagram on Sunday. The photo was posted along with the photo.
“You tried to put both me and adidas out of business at the same time… You tried to destroy my life after all the money I’ve made for the ‘business’ people,” the rapper wrote in an Instagram post on Sunday. He appears to have used the phrase “‘business’ people” in place of the phrase “Jewish people.” “And now everybody knows just how much power you people in ‘Business’ actually have,” she said.
This article is the latest chapter in the ongoing feud between Ye and Emanuel, which began earlier this month when Emanuel argued in an editorial piece published by the Financial Times that the rapper’s mental health problems are not an acceptable reason for his antisemitic comments.
The CEO of Endeavor, who is Jewish, stated in a letter to corporations urging them to terminate relations with the artist due to his vile views that “millions of people plagued by mental illness do not spread harmful ideology.” The artist has been accused of making anti-Semitic slurs. “Others brush off his statements as just words, but it doesn’t take much for hateful words to become terrible actions,” you could say.
As a form of response, Ye composed a letter that was directed toward Emanuel and said, “Ari Emanuel, I lost 2 billion dollars in one day and I’m still alive.” West was quoted as adding. “This is a lecture on love. I still love you. You are not beyond God’s love. I am not defined by my financial situation. I am a product of the people around me.
The non-accredited private school owned by the artist, Donda Academy, abruptly shuttered its doors on Thursday. This occurrence, which occurred in the midst of the dispute, is likely what prompted the tweet that targeted Emanuel.
The title of the post is “Ari Emanuel.” “Are you able to locate a school that the students of Donda Academy can attend that is located in an area that is zoned appropriately for a school? I have approximately sixty children who are currently looking to transfer and do not have a home for them to stay.
The artist proceeded by adding, “This is what modern post social media #Blackmirror warfare looks like…the children are not even off limits,” and then went on to provide examples of the “warfare” by referring to “economic lynching,” “digital lynching,” and “bankrupting my social credit score.” Despite this, there is no direct reference to Till anywhere in the post; all that is mentioned is the word “lynching.”
After that, he made an impassioned appeal to Emanuel’s brother, Rahm Emanuel, the former mayor of Chicago, to assist him in rescuing the school, from which he claims to “bus in impoverished youngsters from all over.” “Rahm… You are an extremely influential ‘Business’ guy,’ he wrote to me. “Here I am… The man who was once the wealthiest black person in the world is pleading with the person who is responsible for his destruction to “at least aid these Children.”
