Jurgen Klopp Looks Up Four Young Liverpool Players Active in Dubai
A group of young individuals were given the opportunity to gain notice during Liverpool’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai. Four of those young kids impressed Milan during their time at the camp.
The 33 members of Jurgen Klopp’s squad travelled to the United Arab Emirates for the purpose of practising and competing in the Dubai Super Cup against Lyon and Milan in a friendly competition.
In the first place, it was a tune-up for the second half of the season, which will start on Thursday evening with a League Cup match away at Manchester City. Additionally, it provided an opportunity for a number of academy youngsters to get game time.
Nine individuals took part in a total of two friendly matches, with Jurgen Klopp praising the performances of Bobby Clarke, Stefan Baisetic, Melkama Frauendorf, and Ben Doak following the team’s victory over Milan by a score of 4:1.
When asked about the moment, he told LFCTV, “Of course, when you bring the kids [in] the second half and you witness Bobby Clarke’s show.”
“And all of Stefan’s performance, Mel’s performance as a right back, and then Ben Doak, 16, comes along, and it’s such a natural force, it’s really fantastic to witness,” he said. “And all of Stefan’s performance as a centre back, Mel’s performance as a centre back.”
“During these ten, eleven days, everyone has made a genuine step forward, especially the children. This is especially true.
“That’s why it’s so important that we can use these things; that’s why they’re so important. “And generally speaking, tonight was the outcome of what we’ve seen in training over the course of the past 10 days, and today, we were able to display it on the field, which is certainly wonderful,”
Klopp also selected Luke Chambers, Jarrell Kuans, Dominic Corness, Leighton Stewart, and Jake Kane to play against Lyon and Milan in addition to Clarke, Bajcetic, Frauendorf, and Doak.
As Jurgen Klopp has indicated, even while it’s possible that some of the younger players who are breaking into the starting lineup won’t end up playing for Liverpool in the long run, the development process is still extremely important.
It’s awesome in every possible way. He remarked, “I’m not sure the academy will be able to see today’s game, but it’s wonderful when you see these guys performing in a match like this.” I’m not sure if the academy will be able to watch today’s game.
“It’s a genuine hard game, adult football is a rough game, and boys have to take these steps in order for them to be able to prepare for it step by step.
“Like I said, the physical component will come, but [when] you’re not very strong, you can produce a lot of ideas, and you can do things that are a little bit wiser,”
It should come as no surprise that players like Baysetic and Clark, who were previously playing in Dubai, are now playing at the Etihad, given that the match against City is less than a week away.
