The tweet that made people think that Rowan Atkinson had died said, “FOX BREAKING NEWS: Mr Bean (Rowan Atkinson) died at 58 in a car accident.” A similar tweet said, “English comedian and actor Rowan Atkinson, better known as Mr. Bean, is thought to be dead after reports that the 58-year-old actor died in a car crash on March 18, 2017.”
Here’s an example of a tweet from today that said Rowan Atkinson had died when she hadn’t: “Sleep Well. Rowan Sebastian “MR.BEAN” Atkinson. Born on January 6, 1955, and died on November 22, 2021.”
