Groban tells PrideSource, “If I were gay, I would have had no problem announcing my sexual orientation from the beginning.” If that were the case, I would have nothing to conceal.
Groban realized he was a homosexual icon when the Bears informed him of his increasing gay fan base.
“I’m like, ‘Are you a baseball team?'” exclaims Josh Groban.
He claims that his sexuality has always been the subject of rumours, but he’s never been bothered by it. “People have speculated and desired to speculate; whatever, that’s great.
If I were homosexual, I would not consider it a negative trait. If I were you, I would say, “Okay, go ahead and speculate as much as you like; let’s talk about it.”
The 34-year-old singer dated actress January Jones from 2003 to 2006, and has been dating Two Broke Girls starlet Kat Dennings since October 2014.
Groban says he doesn’t care what people think of him because he’s always been encircled by gay individuals.
“I’ve grown up with gay friends; my parents had wonderful gay acquaintances. I was raised in a family with such an open mind.”
