The basic format of the show starts with a Flash Challenge. The Flash Challenge tests that how well the artist is prepared. They check that how well the artist meets the skill of the week. They are given tasks other than tattooing that are not related to their artistic skills. These tasks include painting, haircutting, burning, etc. The winner of the challenge gets an opportunity to select their human canvas in the elimination challenge. Some of the Flash Challenges may also include tattooing.

The second challenge is known as the Elimination Challenge. This is another test of the skill of the week, which is on a human canvas. After pairing up the contestants with their respective canvas, a day is given to them to discuss their assignment. The next day, the contestants are given four to six hours to tattoo their designs. After completing, the contestants are grouped and judged by the judgment panel one by one. Four contestants are called back after dismissing the rest. They are then selected as top two and bottom two for the whole week. After each episode, one contestant is declared as the winner, and the other one gets eliminated.

Talking about the upcoming season, its revival was confirmed way back in February 2021. So, we can expect the panel to return with some new slots of judges and tattoo artists.

The Release Date: When Will the Fourteenth Season of the Show Ink Master Be Released Over the Original Network?

We are sure that the filming and production of the new episodes of Ink Master don’t take long as the first episode of Season 12 aired on 11th June 2019 and Season 13 made its debut on 7th January 2020. Talking about another season, it took a long time due to the pandemic spread all around the world. The ongoing COVID-19 is the reason for the delay of all the movies and series. The new episodes will be filmed according to the comfort zone of the executives at Paramount.

According to the sources, the audience will be able to watch the new episodes of Ink Master at the beginning of 2022. The upcoming year could be the earliest time at which the audience could watch it. It could be the best year to relaunch the series as the series came out in 2012, and they could celebrate this time as their completing ten years celebration of amazing tattoos.
