How to Use Spot Me on Chime: Your Interest, Hidden Costs, Working, Benefits and Fee

It is estimated that large financial institutions received overdraft fees from their customers of $11 billion only in 2019. At Chime, we’re always looking for new ways to do things. Simply put, we don’t like the idea of overdraft fees, so we’ve chosen to do away with them. For qualifying Chime members, SpotMe is a completely free service.

Doing so once you’ve paid back your negative debt is completely optional. SpotMe will not affect your eligibility or limit for SpotMe in the future.
