How Many End Credits Eternals? Why was Eternals Movie Disliked?
How Many End Credits Eternals? Eternals is likely the most ambitious Marvel Cinematic Universe film to date. The film is directed by Chloe Zhao, who also directed Nomadland. It depicts a group of super-powered immortal beings that emerge on Earth in ancient times with the task of protecting humanity from the evil creatures known as the Deviants.
Eternals is an upcoming American superhero film based on the same-named Marvel Comics race. It is the 26th film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Chloé Zhao, who co-wrote the screenplay with Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo, and Kaz Firpo, directed the picture. Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, and Lia McHugh comprise the ensemble cast.
In the film, eternal alien creatures known as the Eternals emerge from hiding after thousands of years to defend the planet from their ancient counterparts, the Deviants.
Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, stated in April 2018 that a film based on the Eternals had begun development, with Ryan and Kaz Firpo engaged to write the script in May.
Zhao was slated to direct the film at the end of September, and he was allowed a great deal of creative flexibility, resulting in more filming on location than in past MCU films.
Zhao rewrote the screenplay, to which Burleigh reportedly contributed later. Between July 2019 and February 2020, principal photography took place at Pinewood Studios and on location in London, Oxford, England, and the Canary Islands.
How Many End Credits Eternals?
“Eternals,” Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster, contains two scenes that fans must watch.
You are familiar with the procedure by now. There are not one, but two end-credits scenes that reveal a shocking new character and hint at the beginnings of an upcoming hero if you see the film in a theatre.
If you left early or viewed the scenes and were somewhat confused, we’ve got you covered.
The First End-credits Scene
The first scene after the credits takes place on the Eternals’ ship The Domo, where we see Druig (Barry Keoghan), Makkari (Lauren Ridfloff), and Thena (Angelina Jolie), who left at the end of the film to inform the other Eternals of their discovery (i.e. they were all helping hatch baby Celestials, not protect planets).
However, after a prolonged absence from Earth, they realised that something was amiss with their fellow Eternals. After correctly deducing that their Celestial employer Arishem (David Kaye) had abducted Sersi, Sprite, Kingo, and Phaistos after they foiled his intentions, they decide to “go back,” only to be astonished by the appearance of a stranger.
In particular, it is the visage of Pip the Troll, who is there to announce the coming of his master Eros, who is variously described as the “Royal Prince of Titan,” “Starfox of mystery planet,” and “brother of Thanos.”
To us, he will always be known as Harry Styles, after the news of his surprise appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe emerged from early press screenings.
In any case, he is here to assist the Eternals. “Pip and I are here to assist,” he informs the three astonished Eternals. “Your pals are in grave danger. And we know how to locate them.”
Eros has a lengthy history in the comics, which you can read about here, but in this context, he appears to be there to set up an Eternals sequel – or at the very least, to tease Styles’ future MCU appearances.
In fact, Eros has an (often romantic) past with numerous Marvel characters and has even joined the Avengers in the comics, so he could appear in a variety of places in the future.
The Second End-credits Scene
The second teaser focuses on Sersi’s (Gemma Chan) human boyfriend, Dane Whitman, as he reacts to her kidnapping by Arnhem.
In his office, we observe Dane preparing to open a mysterious package bearing his family crest.
He assures himself, “You can do this…you can do this,” before ripping it open to reveal a wrapped-up blade.
This sword, however, is not like any other; it has its own motto (“Death is my reward”) and a propensity of muttering foul words when it is opened, much like the One Ring.
Dane responds, “I’m sorry, but I have to try,” and reaches for the sword before being halted by another voice.
“Are you certain you’re prepared, Mr Whitman?” An unidentified American male speaks before the scene fades to black.
