Putting a lot of resources in the trunk lets you take it to your car, empty it, and then put the trunk back where it was. You can also use the things in the trunk with your work tables whenever you need to. How do you get one, though?

Near the end of the lesson on Pacific Drive, you’ll be able to practice a few times. The Transfer Trunk will be ready for you in the garage. The prize that comes out of the weird trash can is this one. The box is big and easy to see so that you won’t miss it.
If you lose the Transfer Trunk, though, check the back rooms of the workshop. There’s a Shop-Vac there that can pick up anything you drop on the floor while you work. The Vac will put your Transfer Trunk back on a nearby stand once it’s done cleaning up. All of your things will be safe inside.
There are better ways to store things after the Transfer Trunk is set up. You can make big changes to your garage, car, and character books with the Research Station.
This is something you should do right away. Don’t get me wrong—the Transfer Trunk is useful no matter how much you level up your stuff.
