He wrote, “A few weeks back, I made a random comment about Vin Diesel. It started somewhat humorous, but unraveled into me dogging him out over behavior I had heard about on multiple occasions from multiple sources.”

Then, the Emmy winner said he had “gotten 1 hour of sleep” before flying from Los Angeles to Atlanta “to do a full day of press” for Pixar’s “Inside Out 2.”

He wrote, “I was exhausted and, in my fatigued state, I shot my mouth off and made a careless, needlessly mean-spirited, comment. That comment was recorded and then went viral. Just here to say that I am sorry for having made that comment.”

The viral video of him has taken center stage all over the internet. In Late June, he had shut down a CinemaBlend interviewer. The reason behind this is that he compared his voice acting in “Inside Out 2” to that of Diesel’s in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He said during the interview to the interviewer, “Please don’t say that. Sorry, I love people, but when I hear stories about Hollywood actors who get paid really well and mistreat people, I out them constantly. And it’s a blast.”

Diesel has yet to respond to Hauser’s remarks in the media. HuffPost has reached out to representatives for both Hauser and Diesel for their comments.

Hauser mentioned that he has “never met” Diesel and expressed his regret by saying he is “sincerely sorry for shooting my mouth off and not showing love to Vin.”

Furthermore, Hauser acknowledged that “even if some of those things turned out to be true,” it is “mean” and “isn’t fair” to criticize others as he did.

Hauser wrote a quote which he took from the Bible on his Instagram story, “As a self-professed Christian, I need to do a better job of loving people and not trying to ‘right a wrong’, or allow my ego to posture itself with some sort of verbal flex. Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life.”
