Gujarat Titans Star’s Direct Hit Run-out From Boundary in IPL 2023 is the Stuff of Legends!
During the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Abhinav Manohar got Adam Zampa out with a great straight hit from the boundary. This was the talk of cricket fans everywhere.
During the match between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans, Zampa completely missed a delivery from Mohit Sharma, but it fell between two GT fielders.
The hitters were relieved, so they kept running for the second run, but Manohar had other plans. He quickly grabbed the ball, and his throw hit the stumps, ending the RR’s turn and giving them the lowest score in this year’s tournament.
Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad, two Afghan spinners for the Gujarat Titans, got the Rajasthan Royals to give up and get out for 118 runs. The two Afghan spinners split five wickets.
When Rajasthan Royals won the toss and chose to bat, their batting fell apart against Rashid, who got 4-0-14-3 and started a slide, and Noor, who got 3-0-25-2.
At the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Rajasthan looked like they were in charge until the fifth over when they were 47 for 1. After that, they lost nine wickets for only 71 runs and were bowled out in 17.5 overs.
Mohit Sharma at short third man caught Jos Buttler (8) after the batter hit two fours in a row in the second over.
Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal (14) tried to give RR some momentum, but their 36-run second-wicket stand was broken when Abhinav Manohar dove to stop a cut from Samson in the last over of the powerplay.
Jaiswal was a long way from the crease when Mohit Sharma threw the ball to Rashid, who broke the stumps.
The bowling team led by Rashid then took firm control of the game. Little stopped Samson’s good start at 30 off 20 balls (3 fours and 1 six) by catching the RR captain inside the ring with a stroke that was too early.
Samson moved across the line to play on the on side, but all he could do was get a leading edge, which Pandya picked up as the RR captain looked at the pitch in shock.
Rashid then beat his opponent Ravichandran Ashwin (2) for most of the eighth over, and on the last ball, he broke his off-stump.
Riyan Parag, who was 4 at the time, continued to disappoint. In the 10th over, he didn’t see the Afghan leggie’s googly and tried to argue the umpire’s leg-before call, but he failed.

At the halfway point, RR was struggling with a score of 72 for five.
Noor Ahmed helped keep RR under pressure by stumping the left-handed Devdutt Padikkal (12) in the 12th over and catching the dangerous Dhruv Jurel (9) leg before his next.
Rashid came back in the 15th over and caught Shimron Hetmyer’s (7) leg before. This continued the terrible run of the Caribbean batter in this IPL.

With scores of 3, 2, 8, 8, and 7, Hetmyer has now gone five rounds in a row without getting a score above 10.
Rashid almost got his fourth wicket in his last over, but Trent Boult’s return shot was a little too far away for him to catch with his follow-through.
