GTA 5 Might Soon Be Taken Off Xbox Game Pass

As the year comes to a close, Microsoft may have one more surprise in store. It looks like Grand Theft Auto V will soon be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Some players have been told that this game is one of three that will be taken off the service on December 31, but Microsoft has only confirmed two of those.

After Only 6 Months, GTA 5 Could Be Taken Off Xbox Game Pass.

Some Xbox Game Pass users got a message today through the app called “Leaving Game Pass (31/12)” that told them to “Play before it’s gone: Grand Theft Auto V.” You could also save up to 20% and buy it to keep the fun going.

It is important to note that while some players on Reddit have gotten the message, we have not. So, there’s only a small chance that the game will end on December 31; the notifications may have been sent to a few players by mistake.

After being added as a surprise on July 5, Grand Theft Auto V has been in Xbox Game Pass. The game has been on Game Pass twice before, in 2020 and 2021.

Six months may not seem like a long time. Both times, players had three months to play the game before it was taken down from the service. This was the longest time the game had ever been available.

In the same way, Red Dead Redemption 2 was only on Game Pass for three months.

Most games that come with Xbox Game Pass are available for one year, but some are available for longer periods of time. There is no doubt that Monster Train and Naraka: Bladepoint will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on December 31.

The first one has been in service for three years, and the second one will be taken away in 18 months.
