On CBS’s firefighter drama Fire Country, Bode (Max Thieriot) may be free man, but that doesn’t mean the drama has ended. Bode was pleading with his uncle Luke (Michael Trucco) to make sure he gets placed on a Cal Fire team in Season 3 when we last saw him.
The major request will place Bode squarely in the center of a civil war in Leonese territory, since Sharon (Diane Farr) has just announced her intention to take Luke’s post after learning of Luke’s role in Manny’s (Kevin Alejandro) incarceration.
Bode’s personal life isn’t getting much better. He saw Gabriela’s (Stephanie Arcila) marriage to Diego (Rafael de la Fuente), albeit it’s unclear if she truly said “I do” at that point.
In a different part of the city, Jake (Jordan Calloway) was grappling with the possibility that Rick (Adam Aalderks), a former addict and troublemaker in high school, might be the biological father of Gen (Alix West Lefler). This development would complicate Jake’s case for custody of his ex-fiance’s kid.

He can have fun at Smokey’s and visit Jake’s apartment to do things that a typical 30-year-old man would do,” Napolitano explained. “It’ll be a welcome change and a breath of fresh air because Bode hasn’t had the chance to do these things throughout most of our show.”
Even if Bode is no longer a prisoner at Three Rock, Fire Country will still center on the prison community there.
“We’ll keep seeing the prisoners when they come in. These initiatives are kind of under scrutiny all the time,” Napolitano informed us. “What does working there entail? What knowledge are prisoners gaining? We’ll examine how they relate to 42. It will remain a fundamental element of the event, although we may make some slight adjustments.”

Even though certain characters were involved in significant cliffhangers in Season 2, we still expect the entire ensemble to return for Fire Country Season 3. Due to the death of her character Cara in the middle of the previous season, Sabina Gadecki will not be returning for Season 3.
