Enola Holmes: Watch the Trailer to See Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown Search for a Missing Girl.
Yesterday, Netflix sent out a cryptic tweet that dropped a hint for anyone who enjoy reading mystery stories. The brand new trailer for Enola Holmes 2 has just been released today.
The plot of the second film will be similar to that of the first, as it will centre on a young detective (played by Millie Bobby Brown of “Stranger Things”) who works to solve difficult cases in 19th-century London while simultaneously attempting to emerge from the shadow of her much more famous brother, Sherlock (Henry Cavill).
At the beginning of November, the adventure will be broadcast on the streamer for the very first time. The most important thing that takes place in the sequel is that Enola opens her own private investigation firm, but as was shown in the previous teaser, she has a hard time obtaining fresh cases to take on.
The fact that Netflix referred to it as a “Part 1” trailer piqued our interest in discovering what “Part 2” might have in store for us.
We are no longer in the dark. The scene in which Sherlock discovers Enola hidden in his cupboard is the first one seen in the trailer. We have already seen this particular clip. Then, we find out that Enola is attempting to locate a girl who has vanished without a trace. The next thing that is revealed to the viewers is that the girl who vanished has access to harmful information regarding influential people.
Then, Sherlock reveals to his sister that both of their investigations are connected in some way. It would appear like the team is getting back on the right path. In the preview, we hear some unfavourable things said about Enola, but throughout the film, she rebuttably demonstrates that she is tremendously competent and, in her mother’s words, “magnificent.”
The breathtaking cinematography, production design, and costume design of the upcoming film Enola Holmes 2 are all highlighted in the promotional material for the film.
Additionally, we get more of the main character’s humour that breaks the fourth wall, and it is always enjoyable to see Brown and Cavill interact with one another. They are unable to avoid one another because the circumstances of their cases are intertwined.
Both Jack Thorne (His Dark Materials) and Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag), who worked together on the first Enola Holmes film from the year 2020, contributed to the writing of the screenplay for Enola Holmes 2, and Harry Bradbeer directed the film.
The movies are based on a series of books written by novelist Nancy Springer, which in turn are based on the well-known Sherlock Holmes puzzles written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
In addition to Brown and Cavill, the cast of Enola Holmes 2 also includes Helena Bonham Carter as Sherlock and Enola’s mother Eudoria, Susie Wokoma as Edith, a friend of the Holmes brothers, and Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury. Brown and Cavill also reprise their roles from the first film.
New cast members include Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Adeel Akhtar, Hannah Dodd, and David Thewlis, all of whom are known for their roles in the Harry Potter film series (Dune).
The highly awaited continuation will make its appearance on Netflix on November 4th. In the meantime, you can check out the newest trailer down below:
