With 6.1 million people overall and a 1.3 rating among adults 18–49, Deception was the network’s best-scripted premiere in that hour since Quantico in September 2015.
Even though it wasn’t a huge hit, it was a good start for a drama in the current ratings environment. But by April 23, only 3.38 million people watched the show, and it had its lowest demo rating ever, at 0.6.
After that, the show got a little better, with episodes getting an average of 0.7 to 0.8, but it wasn’t good enough. The average grade for Season 1 of Deception in most current polls is 1.2.
In the Warner Bros. and Berlanti TV shows, Jack Cutmore-Scott plays famous magician Cameron Black. Once the scandal is over, the only place he can go to improve his lying, trickery, and persuasion skills is the FBI.
Cameron uses every trick in the book and comes up with new ones to help the police catch the world’s most elusive crooks while putting on the biggest illusions of his career.

What Will Happen In Deception Season 2?
We don’t yet have a full story summary for season two of Deception. So, it’s likely that the next set of episodes will pick up where the first set of episodes left off.
The unknown woman finally told everyone what her name was last season, but no one heard it. People have seen this female figure for a long time, but they don’t know where she’s going. She has a plan and knows something about Black’s past.
But did she make a mistake when she blamed Jonathan Black for the murder? Jonathan is still in jail, and we still need to hear more about what happened.
We don’t know what season two would be like, but we have an idea of what a different ending to season one might be like. Maybe Cameron will go to jail, but not for too long. Jonathan and the mysterious woman, on the other hand, are out having new adventures.

The people who made Deception haven’t said anything about who will be in season two. But if there is ever a second season, we would love to see Jack Cutmore Scott play the lead role of Cameron Black. Scott also plays Jonathan Black, who is Cameron’s twin brother.
Kay Daniels plays Ilfenesh Hadera again. He is an FBI agent who works with Cameron to solve high-profile crimes.
Dina Clark was played by Lenora Crichlow, who joined the group. Laila Robins, Amaury Nolasco, Vinnie Jones, and Stepanie Corneliussen are some other likable returns. Brett Dalton, Jack Davenport, and Mario Van Peebles all had guest parts in season one.
The show was created by Chris Fedak, who also served as an executive producer along with Greg Berlanti, Martin Gero, and David Nutter.
