Dc NFT Cards : What Are NFT Trading Cards?

The Cartamundi Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of playing cards, and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced the release of DC Hybrid Trading Cards by Hero today on behalf of DC. Fans will be able to unlock the DC Multiverse and trade and buy the first-ever DC-based hybrid NFT trading cards featuring their favourite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, including DC characters from Warner Bros. Pictures’ epic action blockbuster ‘The Batman,’ which opened earlier this month. The Hero ® app is a revolutionary platform that bridges the gap between the physical and digital worlds.

Cartamundi CEO Stefaan Merckx shared his delight about the company’s cooperation with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring to market Hero, a new groundbreaking hybrid physical and digital fan engagement platform and solution. “As a company, we’re committed to offering outstanding experiences and creative solutions to our partners and fans around the world,” the company states.

The hero will allow fans the choice to own a physical trading card that incorporates an NFT component, merging blockchain technology and physical in-store presence for the first time in the trading card market, beginning with the first DC-based hybrid NFT trading cards. DC Hybrid Trading Cards by Hero will hit shelves and digital wallets in March 2022, with additional and limited-edition material arriving throughout the year. The cards will be built on Immutable X NFTs, an Ethereum-based carbon-neutral Layer2 blockchain.

What Exactly Are Nft Trading Cards?

The blockchain, most typically Ethereum, is used to construct an NFT trade card (CRYPTO: ETH). While they are not substantial (that is, they cannot be physically held), the NFT holder holds the deed to the digital trading card in several ways. If its value rises, the NFT owner will be able to sell it at a profit.
