Bonnie Francesca Wright was born in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on February 17, 1991. She is the second child of Sheila Teague and Gary Wright, who owns the jewelry business, Wright & Teague. She went to Prior Weston Primary School and then to North London’s King Alfred School for her secondary schooling.
Wright kept up with her schoolwork with the help of a tutor and got three A-levels in art, photography, and design technology while she was working on the set.
She has said that growing up on a movie set helped her learn about movies and become interested in them. In 2009, she started going to the University of the Arts London’s London College of Communication while filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
