Bad Bunny, Farruko, and Karol G Earn Top Honors at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.

This year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards saw some of the biggest wins in the industry, including Bad Bunny, Farruko, and Karol G. Bad Bunny was the recipient of nine prizes, including the ones for Artist of the Year, Top Latin Album of the Year, Tour of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year.

Karol G received three wins, including Hot Latin Songs Female Artist of the Year and Top Latin Albums Female Artist of the Year. Farruko won a total of four awards, all of which were for his smash single “Pepas.” The event also honoured up-and-coming musicians in the realm of msica Mexicana, a subgenre of music that is experiencing continuous expansion on a global scale. Ivan Cornejo, a young singer-songwriter who is only 18 years old, took home the award for New Artist of the Year, while Grupo Firme was honoured with the title for Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.

In addition, several seasoned musicians were presented with awards: Chayanne was presented with the Billboard Icon Award, Christina Aguilera was presented with the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award, José Feliciano was presented with the Billboard Legend Award, Nicky Jam was presented with the Billboard Hall of Fame Award, and Raphael was presented with the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award.

The event for handing out the honours took place on Thursday evening at the Watsco Center in Florida. It was shown live on Telemundo. The evening featured live performances from a variety of artists, including Ozuna, Calibre 50, Manuel Turizo, and Maluma, among others. The event took place at the same time as Billboard Latin Music Week, which is the most significant gathering of Latin music professionals in the country.
