Flo is played by India McGee in ‘Soul Train.’ Ray Bradley was played by Christopher B. Duncan in season 2. The rest of the core cast, barring Duncan, has yet to be confirmed for season 3.

The culmination of the second season was the most difficult for him. Before he died in 2012, he reflected on his legacy in the first episode of the series.
It’s possible he’ll live to see season 3 because season 2 didn’t cover that.

Season 2 of the show gained a lot more positive feedback and views in July 2020 compared to its first season. For nearly two years, there has been no official word on whether or not the show will be renewed.

American Soul, a Jonathan Prince and Devon Greggory-created musical drama series, premiered on BET on February 5th.
The long wait for the return of the show is over. In addition, the show’s critics gave it high marks for both of its seasons. It has an IMDB rating of 7/10 and an audience rating of 78 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Showmakers and broadcasters could decide to rapidly renew the show for another season if this happens. The program may return at some point later this year, according to rumours.
