All American Homecoming Season 3 Release Date: Everything We Know So Far
All American: Homecoming season 3 will continue to tell the story of the students at HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Bringston University in Atlanta. The show is set at the made-up Bringston University, and Geffri Maya, who played Simone Hicks on All American, moved to the spinoff to continue her story in college.
All-American season 3 had a backdoor pilot for the show, and Homecoming took place a little while after the end of the original series. Hicks’ only character moved over to the new show. People are excited to see what season 3 of All American: Homecoming has in store after the first and second seasons were well received.
But, even though the show got a new season, All American: Homecoming season 3 will have a lot of big changes, including losing one of its key cast members because The CW is trying to cut the budgets of its different fictional shows.
The Most Recent News About All American: Homecoming Season 3
The most recent news about All American: Homecoming season 3 has sparked a lot of talk among fans, but it was kind of expected based on what was already known from sources inside The CW show. Changes will be made to the group of All American: Homecoming.
This has been known for a while, but now it’s official. Peyton is a boy. Alex Smith, who played the original main character Damon Sims, will stop being a regular on All American: Homecoming. But there is a chance he will come back as a guest star in a few shows.
The head of Bringston University, played by Kelly Jenrette, is also leaving the show as a regular for season 3 of All American: Homecoming. But Deadline said that Jenrette’s team worked out a deal for less money for each episode.
These aren’t the only All American: Homecoming cast members who are going before season 3. Both Cory Hardrict (Coach Marcus Turner) and Rhoyle Ivy King (Nathanael Hardin) have less to do in season 3 of All American: Homecoming and will appear in fewer episodes than usual.
All American: Homecoming Will Have a Third Season
The CW said that All American: Homecoming will come back for a third season in June 2023. The new season was picked up for 13 episodes. Superman & Lois, Walker, and the original All-American were also picked up at the same time.
Brad Schwartz, the president of CW Entertainment, said good things about the show when the renewal was confirmed (via Deadline).
“These are two of our most popular shows on both traditional and digital platforms, and their fans are some of the most dedicated in all of television. We are thankful to Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions for continuing to work with us, and we can’t wait to start the new seasons.”
All American: Homecoming Season 3 Release Date
The release date for season 3 of All American: Homecoming has changed. This is because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, which have pushed back the release dates of many shows on both network TV and online services. The show was meant to air on The CW for the first time on October 10, 2023.
The next season of All American: Homecoming will not come out in October as planned. Now, All American: Homecoming season 3 won’t come out until sometime in 2024, like most planned shows for the next season.
All American: Season 3 of Homecoming Cast

The Story of Season 3 of All American: Homecoming
All American: Homecoming’s second season kept telling the story of students and players at a prestigious HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).
But since Peyton Alex Smith, who plays the main character Damon, is leaving the show, the love triangle between him, Simone, and Lando will have to end sooner than later.
Simone and Lando seem to be the ones who will end up together, and the last thing we saw of her in season 2 was her making a promise to someone but not showing who she was talking to. But other than that, it’s not clear where the story of All American: Homecoming season 3 will go next.
